Head of the Molecular Oncology Unit is dr. Gianni Del Sal, full professor at the University of Trieste, in the Faculty of Medicine.

At the moment, the Unit is composed of two independent research groups,
one led by prof. Gianni Del Sal, the other led by dr. Licio Collavin.

These two groups work in close collaboration and meet regularly in a joined Lab Meeting.
